Review: Legend Of Korra Finale Episode 12

For those who are not in the know, the Legend of Korra is a television show that airs on Nickelodeon, and is the child of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It forwards us nearly 100 years into the future, to the children of the original characters, and brings to us a new Avatar. The Avatar is a human being capable of mastering the four elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth in order to bring peace to the world through a form known as bending. Bending is the manipulation of the elements, and sub elements, such as plantbending, bloodbending, sandbending, and metalbending. Korra, the avatar protagonist, is a brash and impatient teenager who easily learned Fire, Air, and Earth when she was a young child.

This review in particular covers Episode 12, following a partner review that covered Episode 11 and is the final of the two episodes in the series. If you are not familiar, or have not seen the 10 episodes beforehand, I warn you that the following is a full synopsis and review on the episode, revealing spoilers and heavy plot points. Don’t read on further unless you are alright with either of these concepts.
